Sotelo, Jasmine

I am Jasmine Sotelo, currently a junior at Presidio High School and I am very proud of being a lady devil. At this moment I am hoping to attend Texas A&M and study nutrition and dieting but I still have time to pick on other options . I am striving to stay on A honor roll in all my classes and trying my best to graduate in the top 10 of my class. During my freshman year I was an active member of Presidio ISD volleyball team, basketball and track. On this last one, my team and I qualified for the UIL Track and Field State Championship. I also played on the Presidio VIP traveled team of volleyball and was a member of STUCO. My sophomore year I ran cross country, which we qualified to the UIL Cross Country State Championship. I played volleyball and ran track. During my sophomore year I became a member of NHS. I have been receiving calls from Hardin-Simmons University interested in me to be part of their cross country team in the future. Today as a junior I am a remote student due to the pandemic. I am currently not doing any sports at the time but hoping to get back and do what I love to do. I love my community. That is why I try to help out as much as I can. My community is very important for me because it is where my family and friends are and it is where I grew up. I like to help my community by volunteering and supporting.
