PHS PRINCIPAL

WELCOME MESSAGE:

PHS PrincipalWelcome to the Presidio High School website.   Our newly designed portal is designed to provide you a pleasant and comfortable tour of our campus and the various opportunities we offer.

Presidio High School is the “center of the universe” for our community as we are the providers of secondary educational opportunities for our children and a catalyst for post-secondary careers.

Our dedicated staff ensures that each student is significant and deserving of the best we have to offer.  An atmosphere of respect permeates the campus and our students are fully aware that we sincerely care about them.

PHS’s dual credit program, in partnership with the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, provides college courses that enable our students to graduate as sophomores and Juniors at the university level….at no cost to our students.  The Career Technical Education (CTE) program also offers courses of study in welding, accounting, electrical apprenticeship, business, among others, thanks to our partnership with Texas State Technical College.

PHS also offers an excellent band program, competitive athletic programs as well as a Solar Car Club, where students design and build a working solar car for national competition.  A designated STEM Academy, Presidio High School also provides rocketry and robotic programs.

At Presidio High School, we strive to provide our students with the skills essential to success at the university level or work force.
